With the help of this amazing application, we are able to send text messages for free, in every part of the world, share media files, share locations and also to create personal accounts. But, there is plenty more to the application than just sharing files and sending unlimited text messages. There are a couple of Whatsapp features that can make chat more enjoyable.

Before I go and list all those great features most of you are not aware of, I want to tell you a couple of things regarding the possibility to install Whatsapp on PC. First of all, this alternative is not officially released by the Whatsapp developers. It is possible only through a third party Android emulator, which will allow you install various mobile applications right on your desktop computer.

With the emulator downloaded and installed on your computer, you are able to download Whatsapp on PC is only a couple of minutes. Then, to install the application is rather simple, since you need to follow the same steps as when you download it on a smartphone. Therefore, after you download it, you need to configure the application by entering a valid phone number, and the verification code, and you are good to go.

Now, returning to the features that some of you might have missed, I want to start with the possibility to send Whatsapp conversation history to every contact you want. Yes, this is true. You can send an entire conversation history from Whatsapp via email to any contact you want.

I know that at first sight, might not seem that useful, but when you want to prove something, or when you want to share something with others, you can head over to the More section, and select Email conversation, before entering the address of the recipient. The email will also include any pictures, voice, and video clips sent during the respective conversation.

The next features I want to show also relates to the conversation history. If by any chance you want to save your conversations for later use, you are able to do this, with a backup option. Whatsapp Downloaded and Installed on Windows-Based Computers

I am sure that there is nothing new regarding Whatsapp that you can think about. Everybody knows that Whatsapp is one of the best chat messengers out there and now, I am glad to tell you that Whatsapp for PC is available as well. This is true. You have now the opportunity install Whatsapp on any personal computer, as long as you follow the following steps.

As you probably know, Whatsapp is a cross-platform messaging app, which allows you to send messages around the globe, completely free of charge. Moreover, Whatsapp brings us the possibility to send text messages, multimedia files such as documents, photos and videos, and much more.
At this point, Whatsapp is available for pretty much all-mobile operating system on the market, and it can be used on iOS, Android, Blackberry, Symbian, Java, and Windows. However, since there are plenty of people out there who do not own a smartphone, the possibility to install Whatsapp on PC, is more than welcomed.

However, this process is not as complicated, especially if you are mot familiar with the platform. On the other hand, if you have used Whatsapp on your smartphone, I am sure that you will be just fine.
Whatsapp is a revolutionary product or better called, a service, that has been downloaded more than 200 million times at this point. It is worth mentioning the fact that Whatsapp is ne of those engaging messengers, which does not support ads. This thing gives it a huge advantage in front of others.

The first step in downloading and installing Whatsapp on PC is to find a proper Android emulator you can use in order to find all those great mobile apps and games. The emulator will put you in contact with the world of mobile apps in a simple manner.

For this, you have a couple of options available, and some of them are actually pretty famous. Let us take the Bluestacks emulator, one of the most downloaded and used Android emulators available on the market. The good thing with Bluestacks is the fact that it is completely free of charge. The bad part is that this emulator might be a little bit too demanding since it requires at least 2 GB of RAM in order to work. This might be a problem for some people, and this includes myself, as well.

As another alternative, we have YouWave another Android emulator available for download, which does pretty much the same thing. However compared with Bluestacks, YouWave is not free of charge, and after 10-days trial, you will have to purchase the product. YouWave is simpler, easier, and lighter than Bluestacks, which makes it the second choice in my suggestion list.

As I mentioned, you need to have the emulator installed on your device before you start downloading any mobile apps. Actually, without the emulator, you are not able to download any app whatsoever. Therefore, after you complete the first step, you can launch the emulator you want to use and start searching for Whatsapp for PC. It is that simple and easy, as you may see.

Once you have Whatsapp installed and ready to launch on your device, you can start customizing the service. In addition, when I say customizing, I refer to the fact that you need to login, to provide a working phone number, as well as the country where you live in.

Related to the phone number you plan to use, you need to keep in mind not to use the same number as the one you use on the mobile version. This might cause a series of annoying events, such as the need to re-verify your phone number through a text message each time you launch the program. I know that in this way, you can have the same contacts available in Whatsapp on PC, but then, when you want to use the service on your Smartphone, you will have to re-verify it once again.

In order to avoid this, you should use a different number, and upload your contacts manually. This should not take that long, especially if you do not have too many contacts added to you account. After you have settled this issue, you can start customizing your account, with a profile picture, status and personal information.

The service is completely free of charge, at least for a year, because then you will have to pay $0.99 per year.

In the same time, users are able to send instant messages, share images, photos and videos, as well as to make use of various smiley faces, avatar pictures, and personal information. Actually, with Whatsapp, you can create your own account, with a proper name, picture, and various details for others to find you quicker. After all, only your friends will have access to it.

Now, the service was intended initially for the mobile use. It is compatible with all mobile operating system and being available on each App Store, for everybody. If at first users were a little bit skeptical regarding its use, soon, millions of users registered to this amazing service and they use it on a daily basis.

Now, in what concerns the possibility to download Whatsapp on PC, let me tell you that this is completely true. First of all, let me tell you that Whatsapp for PC is not officially released by its original developers. This is actually a useful alternative until Whatsapp developers will manage to release a way in which we can make use of their service on a desktop computer.

In order to be able to take this service on your personal laptop, to send instant messages even when you are working on a computer, you need an Android emulator first. This will allow you to install pretty much any mobile application you want right on your desktop computer. The emulator has the purpose of making your computer act as an Android device.

Bluestacks vs. YouWave to Install Whatsapp on PC

There are two different options through which you can install Whatsapp on Windows. The first alternative is through Bluestacks. This Android emulator is one of the most downloaded emulators, mostly since it is free of charge. Actually, the first month is free, and afterwards you will have to pay for the full version. The software is actually simple and easy to use, and the most important, it gives you access to the most important mobile apps available in Google’s App Store right on your desktop computer.

If you do not want to install Bluestacks in order to download Whatsapp on PC, we have another method. For this, you need to download YouWave, a different emulator that has basically the same idea. Compared to Bluestacks, YouWave is lighter and faster. You can install most Android apps directly using YouWave.
Initially, this software utility was released with support for Android 2.3 apps, but now, the latest version allows you to install different Android 4.0 apps on your PC. The only problem with YouWave is the fact that is not free of charge. You will have to purchase it in order to use it.

As you can see, the only way in which you can download and use Whatsapp for PC is through the help of an Android emulator. Whether you choose Bluestacks or YouWave in order to achieve your goal, you will be able to install pretty much any Android app you want right on your computer.

In today’s life, it is practically impossible to live without our smart devices. In addition, when Whatsapp was only meant for a mobile device, it was natural to see a desktop alternative pretty soon. I also want to mention that once you decide to get this instant messaging service on a Windows-based computer, the whole process is actually pretty simple. As long as you have the emulator installed, you will be able to download and install Whatsapp through a simple click.
