Whatsapp is no longer a secret for pretty much everyone who
owns a smartphone. However, there are a couple of things we still need to
discover, and I am pretty sure that most of you do not have not even a clue
with what they can achieve with the help of Whatsapp. Moreover now, when we are
able to download Whatsapp on PC and use it as we use the application on a
mobile device.
Whatsapp has become the app of choice for millions of users
all around the world. With the help of this amazing application, we are able to
send text messages for free, in every part of the world, share media files,
share locations and also to create personal accounts. But, there is plenty more
to the application than just sharing files and sending unlimited text messages.
There are a couple of Whatsapp features that can make chat more enjoyable.
Before I go and list all those great features most of you
are not aware of, I want to tell you a couple of things regarding the
possibility to install Whatsapp on PC. First of all, this alternative is not
officially released by the Whatsapp developers. It is possible only through a
third party Android emulator, which will allow you install various mobile
applications right on your desktop computer.
With the emulator downloaded and installed on your computer,
you are able to download Whatsapp on PC is only a couple of minutes. Then, to
install the application is rather simple, since you need to follow the same
steps as when you download it on a smartphone. Therefore, after you download
it, you need to configure the application by entering a valid phone number, and
the verification code, and you are good to go.
Now, returning to the features that some of you might have
missed, I want to start with the possibility to send Whatsapp conversation
history to every contact you want. Yes, this is true. You can send an entire
conversation history from Whatsapp via email to any contact you want.
I know that at first sight, might not seem that useful, but
when you want to prove something, or when you want to share something with
others, you can head over to the More section, and select Email conversation,
before entering the address of the recipient. The email will also include any
pictures, voice, and video clips sent during the respective conversation.
The next features I want to show also relates to the
conversation history. If by any chance you want to save your conversations for
later use, you are able to do this, with a backup option. For this, just head over
to the Settings menu, choose Chat preferences, and then click on the Chat
history backup option. This will create automatic backup copies for your
conversations, at 4 Am each day. With Whatsapp on PC, I am sure that this
option will turn out to be pretty useful, especially since you will be chatting
more.
